Initial state:
Generalized opacity, water stains in the bathroom area, loss of shine due to cleaning with vinegar.
Technical process:
- 1 Wax cleaning: Enzymatic stripper pH 9 to remove old layers without altering the stone.
- 2 Progressive polishing: Diamond discs 100 → 400 → 800 with water to level micro-scratches.
- 3 Crystallized Base: Application of magnesium fluorosilicate to seal porosity.
- 4 Glitter Crystallization: Steel wool 000 + rotary machine at 175 rpm. Vitrified layer.
- 5 Final sealing: Water-repellent anti-stain protector with non-slip satin finish.
Result:
Long-lasting mirror shine, recovery of natural veining and resistance to household liquids.
Case 2: Hydraulic Mosaic in Gràcia
Color Recovery without Sanding
Initial state:
Pieces intact but dull, wax crusts on joints, loss of chromatic intensity.
Technical process:
- 1 Controlled stripping: Sanigel diluted 1:5, action 10 min, gently rubbed with a nylon brush.
- 2 Complete drying: 72 hours without transit to ensure total opening of pores.
- 3 "Wet Effect" Sealer: Glazing roller, 2 hands. Penetrates and revives mineral pigments.
- 4 Ecological anti-fingerprint wax: Thin layer to unify shine and protect without covering the texture.
Result:
Vivid and saturated color, silky finish, zero alteration of the original design. Ideal for preserving historic hydraulics.
